Business Policy and Liability Agreement
1. Estimates not valid after 60 days
2. $250 or less is a pre-pay transaction
3. $251 and up is 50% down payment with C.O.D. unless under contract
4. $500 and up must have a credit card on file
5. Notice to Owner’s will be produced on all jobs over $2500
6. Downs Glass warranties work and material for one year from date of final invoice
7. Downs Glass maintains a ONE hour window on all appointments
8. Glass and materials that are agreed upon to be installed becomes the customer’s liability for payment when Downs Glass receives an agreement to order and install materials. Downs Glass will do everything in our power to cancel orders with vendors should a cancellation of any materials be requested by our customers; however, in the event we are unable to cancel the ordered material the cost of said material will be our customer’s liability.
9. Downs Glass produces the product on a custom order for each of our appreciated customers
10. Downs Glass Company holds no responsibility towards framing, tile, drywall, electrical, stucco, sills, paint, and any other trade scope of work besides glazing
11. Downs Glass Co., Inc. will pull permits pertaining to installing glass products only
12. Payment policies must be disclosed in writing prior to the commencement of work, and requirements for payments are to be requested from Downs Glass upon initial agreement.
13. Worker’s compensation, general liability insurance certificates approximately five days to produce from the date of request
14. Final payment is due upon arrival of installation team to perform work.
15. All polished nickel hardware tarnishes and is not the responsibility of Downs Glass to replace if such an occurrence takes place.
